A mountainous coastal town
\nIn war torn SYRIA
\nIts people suffering terribly
\nFor they are caught between
\nThe proverbial rock and the hard place
\nAnd whats going on there
\nIs obscene<\/p>\n
A siege and many suffering lamentably
\nNo food no water no electricity
\nAt all
\nPeople are killing stray cats
\nAnd eating them raw
\nLiving on leaves and melted snow
\nIgnore
\nThe news they talk so many lies
\nAbout them
\nThis is the reality of life
\nHumanity has all gone out the window
\nNow existence is something thats called strife<\/p>\n
Aid is going to be coming in the BBC have said
\nMany hAve been fainting others falling dead
\nThere is no future without food and water
\nThe children and the elderly they know
\nThey are dying daily as the winter cold sets in
\nAid cannot come too quickly they are low
\nCompassion is a word that doesn’t matter
\nSo what if people die the great powers say
\nIn the end we all are just the people
\nSo all of us must do something today<\/p>\n
Our government must make attempts to sort this
\nThe US and the Russians equally
\nPeople in this day and age should never reach this level
\nThey are dying of starvation awfully
\nThis place was once a holiday place
\nAnd now its reached a low
\nTalking doesn’t cook the rice and really nothing there is nice
\nPeople just like us prepare to die<\/p>\n
They grovel looking for a cat to slit its throat
\nAnd drink its cold blood that is how they are
\nOr eat grass from the meadow or water with some spice
\nThese are desperate families and this will not suffice
\nWe have to pull our fingers out we cannot let this be
\nNot under our watch no no not ever should we see
\nThese Syrian people reduced to this its terror at their door
