Desperation and despair
\nWhat we feel is lying there
\nA horse whose heart has given out
\nWho lies in pain without a doubt
\nBluster threats and complete disdain
\nClearly this horse is in such pain
\nBack legs kicking clearly they
\nbad blood and loathing all the way<\/p>\n
This poor horse collapses and tries to fight
\nThe nurses from hell are there by right
\nThey tread on his flanks with all their weight
\nAnd jump about at such a rate
\nThe horse is sick what would one do
\nJump down hard on his side a view
\nA lot of damage any way
\nBruise his body and just pay<\/p>\n
If the horse gets through this
\nIt will be a miracle for all to see
\nUndervalued a clear affront
\nTo respectability theres no stunt
\nInvolved here just a culture shock
\nDisparagement and such a knock
\nimprobity and complicity
\nFree from authenticity<\/p>\n
But the horse is suffering as they do
\nThese blood sports do sad things to you
\nAnd where are these ugly sods today
\nTorturing an animal making it pay
\nA petulance a querulous way
\nTetchy and wrong just what can one say
\nThe worst intentions really are
\nBrutality now from afar<\/p>\n
And still he kicks
\nHis breath must be
\nFailing fast
\nTheir infamy
\nTheir selfish awful nursing here
\nIts inducing so much fear
\nIn fact the horse cannot pull through
\nAll this suffering
\nCan we expect it to<\/p>\n
The impatience and the frustration
\nHere
\nA cheerless end to just so much fear
\nAnd theres no way it will run out of here
\nSo its kicking now must be its last
\nA tearful end to a die so cast
\nAnd the men are fiends they just walk away
\nAnd live to earn another day
\nA cardiac massage done with their feet
\nThis was never a way to treat
\nAny soul not any where
