The American dream at Christmas
\nAn atrocity we hear
\nA shelter in Texas
\nA safe place for animals
\nAll of them murdered
\nIn heightened fear<\/p>\n
Man calls himself kind
\nIn his so called books
\nHe is an insolent beast
\nWith the ugliest looks
\nAs selfish as hell
\nSuch improbity he
\nThinks of himself
\nHow can that be<\/p>\n
A shelter a place
\nWhere we go to be safe
\nTo be loved to be shown
\nA stray or a waif
\nLost in the darkness
\nPerhaps all wet through
\nLeft by the wayside
\nAs some humans do<\/p>\n
A story of christmas
\nA time of goodwill
\nTake all the animals out
\nThere and kill
\nEveryone give them a send off today
\nSo we can go off
\nOn our own holiday<\/p>\n
Texas the cow country
\nLets eat the dead
\nLets kill the animals
\nTo Shelter they are led
\nInto the kill room
\nYes one by one
\nHappy Christmas
\nAnd bang ye and your dead
\nSomeones son
\nOr daughter goodbye
\nRainbow bridge is for you
\nThats where you will find help
\nNot here
\nAnd thats true<\/p>\n
We want our holidays
\nWe will not work
\nSo you lot had best
\nSort it out out
\nWhere they lurk
\nIn their own little cages
\nAway from the sin
\nThey were led to their deaths
\nThey just couldn’t win<\/p>\n
Despair on their faces
\nAs the needle they felt
\nThe angels beside them
\nBloody well knelt
\nDown in their darkness
\nWondering why
\nMan, man unkind let these
\nEarthlings die<\/p>\n
The american dream
\nAnd TEXAS the state
\nHonestly truthfully
\nThey couldn’t wait
\nTo go home and enjoy
\nChristmas and be
\nIn the lap of their gods
\nIn their homes happily<\/p>\n
Knowing their charges
\nThats cat boys and girls
\nThe dog boys the dog girls
\nAll the sweet pearls
\nOf existence had been needled
\nOut of this world
\nTheir christmas was death
\nAnd to the darkness hurled<\/p>\n
Each one they knew
\nIn the final moments that they
\nWere the sacrifice
\nAt the end of the day

A sick selfish world we are part of today
