I know its a Giraffe
\na sensitive creature
\nthe family all smiles
\nbut where do smiles, feature?
\nin such an event
\nsuch a tragedy, they
\nkilled a fine animal
\nwho had to pay
\nshot in its prime
\nand likely, unafraid
\nmisguided tourists
\nhad clearly paid
\nfor the holiday
\nwhich had included
\nthe chase, and the death
\nof an animal
\nof sublime grace<\/p>\n
Its was so majestic
\nIn its habitat and
\na big cheque was paid
\nthey did not understand
\nreally the inference
\nto kill in this way
\nand pose for a photo
\non whatever day
\nand post it on Face Book
\nso people like me
\ncould experience the solace
\nmost definitely<\/p>\n
they then did appear
\nhappy and smiling
\ntheir holiday
\nover, now the reconciling
\nbeginning for people
\nlook at their faces
\nand honestly feel
\nthat their action
\ndisgraces
\nhuman’s around this world
\nwho go and hunt
\nand kill such a creature
\nfor what is a stunt<\/p>\n
Just for a photograph
\nin some dusty book
\non Social websites
\nfor millions to look
\nto wonder just how
\nfamilies
\nstoop to such lows
\nand take out these creatures
