\nThe nobility we see
\nThe grandeur of each moment
\nIn the great scenery<\/p>\n
Take pride in what our eyes
\nObserve
\nThe beauty of these souls
\nRelaxing in each others company
\nIf it were not for trolls
\nFor vile inflicting dentists
\nAnd other hunter sods
\nWho picked their spot
\nAnd stole a life
\nFrom the noses of the gods<\/p>\n
Cecil took his punishment
\nWhen an arrow pierced him hard
\nHe must have hurt a great deal
\nBut he was sorely scarred
\nThe hideosity of hunters
\nWalter Palmer he
\nWas selfish arrogant pratt of a man
\nWho you wouldn’t stop to pee<\/p>\n
Upon him if he was well on fire
\nA creep of the order of fiends
\nHis judgement very shot away
\nHe created ugly scenes
\nAs haggard as the day was long
\nPoor Cecil took the force
\nAnd the next day he was finished off
\nAs a matter of course<\/p>\n
Its was all about the trophy
\nThe collar and the rest
\nThis arse cared nothing for anyone
\nHe was someone to detest
\nSomeone to practice voodoo on
\nStick pins in him all day
\nForce them down into his guts

To see poor Cecil sitting with his
\nFamily we know why
\nPalmer came to Zimbabwe
\nTo make the felines sigh
\nTo remind us those who loved him
\nHow majestic and how true
\nHe was a special earthling
\nWhose wildness just shone through<\/p>\n
He walked with grace and beauty
\nHis knowledge set him free
\nHis countenance exceptional
\nReally just to see
\nHim pacing, all his agility
\nAnd guile was on display
\nHis value to the earth

That Palmers rotten arrogance
\nGave weight and Cecil found
\nThe agony of the arrow that hit him
\nOn the ground
\nIt put an end to Cecil
\nThe following day they tracked
\nThe wounded boy to somewhere
\nWhere of course they attacked<\/p>\n
Shot him dead and butchered him
\nStole this warrior soul
\nAnd realised his collar
\nPut them in a hole<\/p>\n
I guess they might have panicked
\nBut blackguards through and through
\nThey stole his head and other parts
\nAnd scarpered
\nThats what they do
\nGet out of Zimbabwe
\nFor the shit could hit the fan
\nAnd really this whole party
\nShould get a lifetime ban<\/p>\n
But they are rich and they have clout
\nNo doubt greasing palms
\nAnd certain people look away
\nThen they have no qualms
\nAbout him or the poor dead lion
\nTheir money helps them forget
\nAs to their awful karma
\nThat debt is now set<\/p>\n
In stone they will be paying
\nIn this life or the next
\nThe great Lion he was slaughtered
\nAnd the world at large did text
\nTheir really solemn messages
\nWhilst Palmer stayed Scott free
\nClearly the king of psychopaths
\nWho will suffer painfully<\/p>\n
His fees are obviously excessive
\nIf he can afford to buy
\nOfficials in Zimbabwe
\nAnd if course rely
\nOn getting out of the country
\nAnd taking his trophies back
\nAnd going after the elephants
\nAnd just mounting his attack<\/p>\n
We think again of Cecil
\nWhat a magnificent soul he was
\nReally very handsome
\nProbably because
\nHis marking and his splendid mane
\nWas colourful and fine
\nAnd sitting with his entourage
\nWas an amazing sign<\/p>\n
A character of brightness
\nOf light and silent thought
\nActually he looked the part
\nIn the spot light he was caught
\nEverything about him was memorable and right
\nAnd murdered for a trophy
