They say they are experts
\nAnd where it is cold
\nFaux fur is useless
\nDespite being sold
\nIts purely a fashion
\nStatement they say
\nAnd something they
\nWill not be using

Coyote works
\nThe trappers they use
\nAll are conservationists
\nThey do not abuse
\nThe animals at all
\nBut clearly they do
\nThese leg hold traps
\nAre so cruel
\nIts true
\nAnd its not only coyote
\nThat gets caught and dies
\nDeer birds and dogs and cats
\nAnd its on the rise<\/p>\n
Trappers don’t record
\nThe numbers that die
\nBut well over a half of them
\nBleed out and why
\nIndiscriminate slaughter
\nIt happens its sad
\nIts terrible torture
\nIts terribly bad<\/p>\n
According to them
\nCoyotes now are
\nHighly abundant
\nAnd certainly scar
\nThe livestock of farmers
\nThe wild ones again
\nSuffer the vagaries
\nAnd all the pain<\/p>\n
And Canada Goose
\nTakes an arrogant stand
\nBlames the cold weather
\nThat it does understand
\nThe ways of Nature
\nAnd real fur must be
\nThe chosen fur that they use
\nConstantly<\/p>\n
They celebrate trapping
\nAnd hunting to kill
\nThey are proud of their status
\nTo combat the chill
\nOnly animal fur does the job
\nSo to say
\nDespite animal rights
\nThe coyote must pay<\/p>\n
And so we see animals locked
\nIn those traps
\nSuffering so and we see chaps
\nShoot them a number of times
\nAnd watch them die
\nIn a great heap of savagery
\nUnder our sky<\/p>\n
For days they have laid there
\nTrying to get
\nDragging their broken legs
\nSomebody’s pet
\nCat or pet dog tortured like this
\nSo you can wear a parka
\nAnd just feel the bliss<\/p>\n
Of walking in Canada
\nWith real fur trim
\nWhilst so many wild souls
\nAre pushed to the rim
\nTortured and bleeding and screaming away
\nSo that rich sodding arse oles can have a warm day<\/p>\n
Wake up Canadians
\nGo to the path
\nAway from the torture
\nAnd terrible wrath
\nWe inflict on our wild friends
\nSuffering so
\nSo that these low life trappers
\nCan kill in the snow<\/p>\n
Can earn their sad dollars
\nIn the killing fields
\nTrapping and shooting
\nRaising the yields
\nSignificantly for Canada Goose
\nPays them all to be on the ball
\nWhich is a ruse<\/p>\n
Its death and destruction
\nOf wild life once more
\nThey suffer greatly
\nAnd I abhor
\nThe arrogance shown here
\nAnd how some rich sods
\nAre prepared to profit
\nFrom fooling the gods<\/p>\n
The cries of the vanquished
\nSuffering so
\nTortured to death
\nSo many on show
\nIts the most awful death
\nBreaking families apart
\nFor our sodding comfort
