\nTo see these ugly gargoyles
\nPosing with their prey
\nOften bloodied a great big smile
\nA rifle by their side
\nA life cut short a brave soul lost

These frantic souls brought up
\nIn farms petted when they were young
\nStolen from their mother sides
\nTheir sanity was wrung
\nOut like some old blanket
\nSodden in a shower
\nAnd then caged up in enclosures
\nUnder the farm mans power<\/p>\n
Shot to death by hunters
\nWho probably fucking missed
\nThe fly on the rice pudding
\nSomehow they resist
\nIts not about the shooting
\nIts the trophy on the wall
\nIts the ego in their trousers
\nAdmitting what a fool<\/p>\n
They are for parting company
\nWith thirty thousand bucks
\nFilling the rich mans pocket
\nThey know that that sucks
\nSeeing a dying animal
\nThe king perhaps whose claws
\nMight have been removed already
