This owl is very small
\nAnd its nocturnal
\nLives in holes in trees
\nOf evergreen
\nHabitat loss and slash and burn
\nIs putting it under pressure
\nBut the one you sent me
\nJust now might have been<\/p>\n
A digitally enhanced variety
\nOn the internet this year
\nThe blue eyes are a give away
\nTo some its very clear
\nBut to me i really care not
\nFor what I see here may
\nSomewhere in a jungle
\nBe flying around today<\/p>\n
And probably in Madagascar
\nIn the family of barn owl
\nBut clearly very special
\nWith a hissing sort of howl
\nLives on rats they tell me
\nAnd could be on the mend
