A feline believes
\nThat a small nest of leaves
\nCreates an invisibility
\nA wandering spirit
\nEven perhaps
\nA sense of silent sorcery<\/p>\n
Behold the chalice
\nWhose golden orb
\nSwollen with liquor sweet
\nWith hazel leaves and fox glove seeds
\nSo soft beneath her feet<\/p>\n
The aromatic fennel
\nThat daintily did dance
\nOn gossamer wings
\nThe light she brings
\nAnd, each pungent chance<\/p>\n
To capture one such message
\nDelilah so content
\nTo sleep away what is the day
\nHer body all but spent<\/p>\n
She the mother of big bear
\nWho prefers to be inside
\nThe nest of invisibility
\nReally no place to hide
\nThe way of the great faery
\nIs not within his soul
\nThe realms of mustard
\nAnd saffron custard
\nMore ties to his role<\/p>\n
delilah in her fox hole
\nWhere the wilder vixens share
\nA dream or two perhaps a clue
\nTo any one who would dare
\nWake her from her slumber
\nWhat ever the dream entails
\nCan become reality
\nReally if all else fails<\/p>\n
Delilah flies imagining
\nThe forest down below
\nShe speaks in many foreign tongues
\nEven perchance the crow
\nCan communicate with her it seems
\nAnd will bring her soft red leaves
\nWoven into the purest cloth
\nWhich is why, she believes<\/p>\n
