The world’s most awful slaughter
\nis just now taking place
\nwhilst you watch your TV, or,
\npowder your face
\nposting news on twitter
\nor face book, it appears
\nthat the seals are off to heaven
\nin a great big sea of tears
\nBludgeoning these babies
\na week old possibly
\nsuckling from their mothers
\nwhat immense thuggery
\nstill smelling the salt
\nwrapped around the breeze
\nas up come gangs of creeps in blue
\nswinging clubs with ease
\npangs of anguish surface
\nits done with consummate skill
\nthousands squashed and battered
\nand just turned into swill
\noblivion for these Cape Fur Seals
\nlost for evermore
\nhot bloodied ruffians
\ncreators of much gore
\nAnd most of them go to Australia
\nto a merchant who believes
\nHe has the where for all to trade
\nand clearly he achieves
\nall his wishes really
\nfor clearly this tycoon
\nis taking all the seal pup pelts
\nand for him its been a boon
\nand all the animals rights issues
\nhe believes that they
\ncontinue to advertise his trade
\nand this just make his day
\nClearly there’s a market
\nfor the growing seal skins and
\nNamibia is harvesting so many
\nall were planned
\nand all go off to this one man
\nbased in Sydney who
\nclearly makes a fortune selling
\ncoats to souls who do
\nwant them and it does appear
\nwhat ever, we now say
\nthere’s clearly women out there
\nwho’d have one everyday
\nTourists though must be made aware
\nOf what Namibia does
\non one hands sells the sanctuary
\nand on the other what a buzz
\nshe sells to slaughter Seals and even
\ntrophy seals she does
\nno ray of hope there sadly
\nexpectancy seems poor
\nA sanctuary that’s killing seals
\nis at odds with natural law
\nreally! it is vital
\nthat lots of seals must die
\nso the money keeps on rolling in
\nand their coffers reach the sky
\nOf course we sign petitions
\nwrite poems day and night
\nwrite letters to the trader
\nas day rolls into night
\nwe remind the world on twitter
\nhow terrible this is
\nwe remind the world on face book
\ninjecting as much fizz
\ninto the bloody argument
\nthat fur bearers do die
\nin a total agonised regimen
