A man with self reliance
\nHe is undaunted in his search
\nDetermined and unshakable
\nHe keeps to his own church
\nWith vivacity and humour
\nWith great optimism too
\nCordial and expressive
\nWith a passion that comes through<\/p>\n
Clearly he is up against it
\nThe warring parties do
\nWant to fight and bomb and strafe
\nBut thats not Corbyn’s view
\nHe clearly has an affection
\nFor honesty and care
\nAnd throws caution to the wind
\nHe does
\nAnd we feel him fair and square<\/p>\n
He doesn’t have a peerage
\nHe is like a normal chap
\nDependable and thoughtful
\nWith humility that does wrap
\nAround the broken spirited
\nHe is modest if a bit shy
\nWell mannered and and good tempered
\nAnd all round lovely guy<\/p>\n
He leads the labour party
\nAnd is getting lots of flack
\nIts because he is no puppet
\nUnder corporate attack
\nThe tories see their glories
\nToppling his, they feel
\nHe is just not one of them in fact
\nWhich of course is real<\/p>\n
Humanity is better placed
\nFor he has a leading part
\nHe has an appreciation
\nYou can feel it from the start
\nYou just know where you are with him
\nHe has duty and we see
\nHe has his moral principles
\nAnd respectability<\/p>\n
He Talks it through a little
\nFor always it ends well
\nWhen people sit around a table
\nAnd talk until the bell
\nRespect each others purpose
\nValue their ideas
\nAnd Don’t make accusations
\nWhich often lead to tears<\/p>\n
Jeremy is a good man
\nA gentleman all through
\nA paragon of virtue
\nA morality thats true
\nHe needs his party supporting him
\nNot running hard away
\nBut putting their tired backs to the wheel
\nAnd collectively now pay<\/p>\n
For there are lots of pipers out there
\nReady to go to war
\nReady to bomb the ISis mob
\nWho go against the law
\nBut warring kills The innocent
\nThe civilians take a hit
\nAnd so a man of the people
\nIs bound to care a bit<\/p>\n
They are trying hard to denounce him
\nTo strip him from his post
\nThey are sadly bad mouthing him
\nSomething I hate most
\nHe has reasoning and intuition
\nAnd demonstrates his path
\nHis judgement sadly shot away
\nBy the feeling of great wrath<\/p>\n
I hope he stands his ground here
\nAnd takes it to us all
\nHe must be feeling under pressure
\nPushed against the wall
\nBut I think he is up to it
\nHe has wisdom and great charm
\nThey can be rude and childish
\nBut Jeremy must stay calm<\/p>\n
The opposition strengthened
\nBy the addition of his crew
\nThey think they have the measure
\nBut he is good and true
\nThey may be bombing Syria
\nAnd fighting the Assad regime
\nBut bullies come and bullies go
