A wild bear with two precious
\nCubs was way laid so I hear
\nThe mother murdered on the spot
\nThe two sweet bears in fear
\nWere both stabbed very violently
\nTheir stomachs opened wide
\nExposing their intestines
\nGaping from inside<\/p>\n
Imagine the pain and suffering
\nThe fear and protection they
\nExpected from their mother
\nWho had already passed away
\nThey felt lost without her
\nUp against these carnal men
\nThese evil rotten bandits
\nWho knew exactly when<\/p>\n
They picked them up then by their ears
\nAnd dashed them against the rock
\nThese were assassinations
\nIt must have been the shock
\nEach had never imagined
\nOf the true century
\nOut walking with their mother
\nAnd attacked so frightfully<\/p>\n
They were evil nasty fellows
\nTheir irascibility
\nTheir gruffness and their temper
\nAnd their bellicosity
\nTo do this to the babies
\nIs hatred of a race
\nAn aversion to their wildness
\nAnd thats why JILL gave chase<\/p>\n
The hunters ran off thinking
\nThey might just get away
\nBut someone recorded what had happened
\nAnd to the BBC did play
\nThe events and they were terrible
\nThe craveh hearted band
\nHad really tortured these little souls
\nAnd all done by their hand<\/p>\n
Those babies all a quiver
\nFeel them shiver it was dire
\nA slow death from the stabbing
\nThat agony and fire
\nThat ruptured their existence
\nKnowing one’s mother is dead
\nKnowing that you are all alone
\nAnd its all inside your head<\/p>\n
Hunters so called have their indiscretions
\nTempt their fate
\nOf course they court disaster
\nAnd try to confiscate
\nThe evidence of murder
\nBut clearly this was why
\nThis family was accosted
\nAnd left out there to die<\/p>\n
A member of the parliament
\nGot wind of their concern
\nAnd interfered with the investigations
\nHe wanted to learn
\nMore about the ugly scene
\nAnd deflect the animals rights
\nIssues seen on social media
\nHe tried to dull the sights<\/p>\n
Drawing in the politics
\nTalking up the regime
\nAccusations of something else
\nFew ever heard them scream
\nThose baby bears their mother gone
\nClearly a hopeless cause
\nWith murdering hunters on the case
\nAnd neither one would pause<\/p>\n
Wild animals have status
\nThey should be protected by
\nSadists who would murder them
\nIts really one big lie
\nA spratt to catch a mackerel
\nTo talk up politics
\nTo make it international
\nTo knock empathy for six<\/p>\n
Hunting is a rotten pastime
\nSo unfair and wrong
\nThe spunk these little bears possessed
\nAgainst this ugly throng
\nIt cannot be imagined
\nTaking on the plight
\nWatching their mother murdered
\nAnd not able to take flight<\/p>\n
Jill Robinson took the case up
\nPetitioned us all to say
\nWhat had happened and why it had happened
\nOn the given day
\nIran looked kind of shadowy
\nIt was not that strong a case
\nAnd so she fought across the many months
\nAnd at a pace<\/p>\n
The tedium was obvious
\nJustice for some bears
\nShe met with some indifference
\nThey are complex affairs
\nBeing laden down with grief
\nCompared with some who see
\n3 bears just as animals
\nTheir Wildness wandering free<\/p>\n
I have to take my hat off
\nTo a single lass who took
\nIt really to the Iranians
\nTrying to use the book
\nTo catch up with these scoundrels
\nAnd get them charged for they
\nThis was courage this was will
\nAnd benevolence I say<\/p>\n
Love for these wild animals
\nAnd prepared to take those on
\nWho thought they would get away with it
\nThe camouflage to don
\nAnd sneak off into the forest
\nJust kind of slink away
\nBut this lady is a fighter
\nWho we can all learn from today<\/p>\n
