{"id":2479,"date":"2012-07-20T22:37:39","date_gmt":"2012-07-20T22:37:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/?p=2479"},"modified":"2013-03-19T17:27:18","modified_gmt":"2013-03-19T17:27:18","slug":"fur-and-those-sacrificed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cooksdelight.co.uk\/blog\/2012\/07\/fur-and-those-sacrificed\/","title":{"rendered":"Fur is far from glamorous"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Traps put out for wild ones<br \/>\nmust get into their psyche<br \/>\nThe withered vile and rotten sods<br \/>\nThe troll like wandering pikey<br \/>\nWho leave their traps about the place<br \/>\nhidden in the leaves<br \/>\nnobody can see them there<br \/>\nwhich is how it achieves<br \/>\nits vile result<br \/>\nclamping tight on legs of skin and bone<br \/>\nthe energy, the blood, the lymph<br \/>\nof the victim on its own<\/p>\n<p>all the strength it ever had<br \/>\nit so did violate<br \/>\nand leave a soul completely lost<br \/>\nto wonder at its fate<br \/>\nwe go about our business<br \/>\nwe live where we were born<br \/>\nhere right here is our heritage<br \/>\nand we&#8217;re treated with such scorn<br \/>\nby some vile smelly trapper<br \/>\nwith little in his heart<br \/>\nwith a head as hard as<br \/>\nthe sandstone rocks<br \/>\npulling his rusty cart<\/p>\n<p>full of other wild one&#8217;s<br \/>\nwho also ambled by<br \/>\nand found his traps<br \/>\nand the jaw that saps<br \/>\nour life force from on high<br \/>\nEach time we move<br \/>\nour flesh is torn<br \/>\nwe shake with shock and awe<br \/>\ntortured we cannot continue<br \/>\neverywhere is sore<br \/>\nhot and cold the feeling<br \/>\nfrightened of what they<br \/>\nthe pikey wants to do with us<br \/>\nas in his cart we lay<br \/>\nhis calloused hands his warty face<br \/>\nhis evil lumbering form<br \/>\na hammer now he raises<br \/>\nand like a violent storm<br \/>\nbrings it down upon us<br \/>\nuntil our eyes can&#8217;t see<br \/>\nand then we&#8217;re skinned<br \/>\nwhilst still alive<br \/>\nto endure more agony<br \/>\ndrowning in our own blood<br \/>\nthat now  begins to seep<br \/>\nlittle crimson rivulets<br \/>\nof blood as eyes do peep<br \/>\nover us from others<br \/>\nas wretched odours rise<br \/>\nDeath why can&#8217;t it hurry up<br \/>\nand speed up our demise<\/p>\n<p>Back to the vast fur farms<br \/>\nwhere cages fill each space<br \/>\nwild one&#8217;s going crazy<br \/>\nall around the place<br \/>\nbiting at each other<br \/>\nbiting at the bars<br \/>\nbanging heads against the doors<br \/>\nand probably seeing stars<br \/>\ncarnivores sad tendencies<br \/>\nunlocked and swept along<br \/>\nwith the vile depraved<br \/>\ncreation which clearly<br \/>\nwas so wrong<br \/>\nno water in our troughs to drink<br \/>\nand very little food<br \/>\nleft out in the wind and rain<br \/>\nthese bastards are so crude<\/p>\n<p>a heartless band of cretins<br \/>\ninequitable and sick<br \/>\napprenticeships with Satan<br \/>\nthey never missed a trick<br \/>\nevery evil dirty moment<br \/>\ndrawn from Hell so deep<br \/>\nthat is where they leave<br \/>\nus and there&#8217;s no respite with sleep<br \/>\nin these dirty sodden cages<br \/>\nin our excrement we lie<br \/>\nits maddening to suffer so<br \/>\nand a pitiful way to die<br \/>\nmaggot ridden wounds<br \/>\npus filled and suppurating<br \/>\neyes caked up with muck and sleep<br \/>\nall of us left waiting<\/p>\n<p>for death to come a&#8217;
