The pilot whales and dolphins
\nAre mammals that so feel
\nThe fear in them the terror
\nThe hopelessness is real
\nTheir minds are vastly superior
\nTo the vile men of Taiji
\nWe can see the consternation
\nFrom these beings from the sea<\/p>\n
Whole families butchered violently
\nDaughters in front of sons
\nMothers in front of fathers
\nDespite their desperate runs
\nSwimming in each others blood
\nAnd snot and sinew they
\nScream out their last messages
\nOn any given day<\/p>\n
Recently the pilot whales
\nHave taken such a hit
\nForced to labour night and day
\nWith all this Taiji shit
\nComing down on all of us
\nWitnessing the pain
\nOminous and direful
\nDriving them insane<\/p>\n
Driven into sea pens
\nAnd kept there overnight
\nNot fed left to wither
\nWe all know thats not right
\nThis is the vilest torture
\nThe promise of such pain
\nThese evil goings on continue
\nAnd happen again and again<\/p>\n
The Japanese are ruthless
\nThey are hard beyond their heart
\nTheir imprudence and indiscretions
\nThe couldn’t care less and they start
\nSelecting for the butchering
\nGaffing some who see
\nTheir brothers and their auntie’s
\nBleeding terribly<\/p>\n
The hopelessness the comfortless
\nAlone against them, they
\nAre driven to despair they are
\nPoked fun at all the way
\nThese souls are deep their affection
\nFor each other is beyond the pale
\nBeyond the realms of the taiji folk
\nWho repulsively prevail<\/p>\n
The grieving and the sorrow
\nThe weeping wailing songs
\nDoleful looking wretched
\nSo unhappy at the wrongs
\nPerpetrated by this band
\nOf ruffians this day
\nWho turn the salty ocean
\nInto a crimson spray<\/p>\n
The blue of joy and pleasure
\nThe red of vilest pain
\nThe placid and unworried
\nWith everything to gain
\nStripped down to their very bones
\nTheir hearts torn clear and free
\nBroken and lost forever in a cloud
\nOf lethargy<\/p>\n
Its really hard to imagine
\nHow fear does grip one’s soul
\nThe infliction and prostration
\nThe truly accursed role
\nFear plays in their mindset
\nThese are thinking caring folk
\nAll harrowed and with many bleeding
\nMurdered at a stroke<\/p>\n
Having to swim in each others blood
\nThe ordeal of hell and pain
\nLoved ones torn to shreds beside you
\nPurgatorial disdain
\nMartyr’s in the moment
\nAngst beyond belief
\nMisbegotten and ungraceful
\nUnprepossessing grief<\/p>\n
And all the while the banger boats
\nThe skiffs the evils cry
\nThe gaffs are in the water
\nThe frogmen too do ply
\nWrestling and man handling
\nIt all erupts in fear
\nThis is what its all about
\nAs the devil does appear<\/p>\n
To those exalted beings
\nPure angels of the sea
\nAn eminence and distinction
\nOf such sublimity
\nRenowned for saving others
\nTheir laurels are their own
\nRevered by all and sundry
