indigenous fun<\/p>\n<p>Torture of the lowest kind<br \/>\nBaby elephants,  who<br \/>\nAre taken from wild mothers<br \/>\nIts intolerable what they do<br \/>\nIn the name of tourism<br \/>\nWhere tourists pay to see<br \/>\nAnd what goes on behind their backs<br \/>\nIs only infamy<\/p>\n<p>Its the ugly face that hides behind<br \/>\nThe money making schemes<br \/>\nRoped in this small structure<br \/>\nIt becomes the worst of dreams<br \/>\nThose animals how they suffer<br \/>\nPulling their legs like mad<br \/>\nStabbing them stabbing their ears<br \/>\nAnd beating them, its<br \/>\nSo sad<\/p>\n<p>So very sad to see this<br \/>\nThey do not understand<br \/>\nThey haven&#8217;t done anything to deserve<br \/>\nThis torture that was planned<br \/>\nTo really break their spirit<br \/>\nTo cut them down to size<br \/>\nIts pathetic and its pitiable<br \/>\nWhy don&#8217;t we realise<\/p>\n<p>The terror that these babies feel<br \/>\nAs many men there do<br \/>\nThe torture stabbing tender ears<br \/>\nTurning their heads blue<br \/>\nWith bruising and with bleeding<br \/>\nThe soreness must be bad<br \/>\nHere them trumpeting such lamentation<br \/>\nWailing for their dad<\/p>\n<p>Its irksome and its tedious<br \/>\nDisgusting all who see<br \/>\nIts nauseating behaviour<br \/>\nIts not how it should be<br \/>\nThese are tiny babies innocent<br \/>\nWe can see<br \/>\nWe can feel their total innocence<br \/>\nIts just rotten that we<\/p>\n<p>Stand up and give our tourist money<br \/>\nAnd so prolong their pain<br \/>\nIts repulsive what we do to them<br \/>\nIts graceless the refrain<br \/>\nOf elephants screaming skywards<br \/>\nRocking the ground so hard<br \/>\nPounding their little roped up feet<br \/>\nThat become cut up and scarred<\/p>\n<p>A sadistic bunch of cretins<br \/>\nMahouts they often say<br \/>\nThey look after their elephants<br \/>\nIts an extraordinary way<br \/>\nOf looking after babies<br \/>\nIt torture and its pain<br \/>\nIts agony and hopelessness<br \/>\nAnd pure cowardice once again<\/p>\n<p>A parade of all these tortured souls<br \/>\nIn Surin every year<br \/>\nIts called a cultural festival<br \/>\nAnd they are dragged in on<br \/>\nFear<br \/>\nThrough the streets to suffer<br \/>\nThe vagaries of sin<br \/>\nPunching butting as they are strutting<br \/>\nWith wounds and all that din<\/p>\n<p>Thailand really is a cruel and nasty place to be<br \/>\nWhat they do to their animals<br \/>\nIs woeful actually<br \/>\nIts evil dark and ugly<br \/>\nIn  really the worst of ways<br \/>\nPulling their tails and hammering their heads<br \/>\nJust trying to raise<\/p>\n<p>Their emotion and their spirit<br \/>\nTo break them make them throw<br \/>\nTheirselves into the human ways<br \/>\nAnd the tourists do not know<br \/>\nThey pay their various currencies<br \/>\nAnd support the violence they<br \/>\nTorture strain and carry on doing it<br \/>\nEvery bloody day<\/p>\n<p>Lead into the stadium<br \/>\nThey can hardly walk<br \/>\nSuffering like crazy<br \/>\nAs all the people talk<br \/>\nDressed up in regalia<br \/>\nOn their painful feet<br \/>\nTheir wounds are covered<br \/>\nFrom the public eye<br \/>\nAnd they look beat<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with any sense<br \/>\nAnd heart must feel<br \/>\nThese elephants crying every step<br \/>\nThis agony is real<br \/>\nHow can this be cultural<br \/>\nIts low life low routine<br \/>\nIts egregious torture<br \/>\nIts actually obscene<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tourism in Thailand Behind the mantle, they Torture Baby elephants Make those infants pay Their spirit it is broken Use of the mean &#8220;phajaan&#8221;
