Now we hear despite the news
\nThat blackfish has tightened the screws
\nAnd Sea World has been feeling pain
\nBut still feel there is much to gain
\nFrom keeping the cetacean mob
\nIn tanks and allowing me to sob
\nMy heart out really feeling they
\nAre suffering terribly every day<\/p>\n
The corporation viewpoint here
\nIs to give the public instant cheer
\nFrom watching labouring orca’s cry
\nAnd knowing deep inside they die
\nTheir habitat has been shot away
\nNo life force anywhere today
\nA wretched tank no life to see
\nNo animals no plants how can that be
\nConsidered natural in any way
\nIts arrogance that makes them pay<\/p>\n
That hoodwinks the public
\nAnd makes them feel
\nThat this blue tank
\nIs really real
\nIts blue the sea is blue haha
\nAnd the orca’s are mAde to be the star
\nIts a sad old world we live on today
\nWhen we take advantage of wild souls
\nThey
\nAre ripped from their families
\nAnd made to act
\nLoners sad souls who react
\nInside themselves their feelings sore
\nThey get drugged up with stuff galore
\nThey are bored to death by the wretched size
\nOf these sterile tanks and of course the lies<\/p>\n
Now we hear they are changing stuff
\nThe public it seems have seen enough
\nThey want the souls to be sent back home
\nTo the sea again and by now a tome
\nHas been written about it so to say
\nThere are changes afoot
\nOut in the bay<\/p>\n
But in reality not a lot
\nNo real big money
\nIn the pot
\nA change of emphasis it appears
\nTo teaching to knowledge
\nIt seems their fears
\nAre coming home to roost at last
\nAttendances dropping and dropping fast
\nBlackfish made a difference to
\nThe balance sheet and the margins do<\/p>\n
Explain the jumpiness across the board
\nActivisim is one huge sword
\nCarving through the sea world gate
\nReally at an enormous rate
\nWe have to keep the momentum strong
\nWe have to educate there is nothing wrong
\nSign petitions go along
\nMake the protest good and strong<\/p>\n
Poems every which way they
\nSettle here and people pay
\nAttention to them write some songs
\nShow people where each soul belongs
\nNot an artificial world
\nWhere innocent wild souls have been hurled
\nThis is not where these souls should be
