From the ocean to a concrete tank
\nAnd its all done over night
\nFrom a breathing living wondrous space
\nBeaming with bright light
\nTo a cramped dead lifeless pond of bricks
\nWhere no live plants exist
\nAnd there you place an Orca
\nAnd of course insist<\/p>\n
It stays there and it eats dead frozen fish
\nThats often thrown
\nOut of a warmish bucket
\nNothing like it had we known
\nAnd trainers so called human beings
\nAre going to teach you how
\nTo do what you have always done
\nBut to do it now<\/p>\n
Not because it comes natural
\nBut because they want you to
\nYou have become their slave in fact
\nAnd whatever they want you do
\nAnd there is lots of screaming humans
\nStaring down at you
\nWaiting for your silly tricks
\nSome of which are new<\/p>\n
Believe me its unbearable
\nAnd sometimes you will try
\nAnd bash them slash crush them
\nDon’t just ask me why
\nBecause you get frustrated with them
\nTheir arrogance it sucks
\nYou were once a predator
\nNow its them that chucks<\/p>\n
A ball or some rubber ring at you
\nAnd you are forced to try
\nAnd balance it or throw it back
\nIts like this its no lie
\nAnd sometimes you just don’t want to
\nAnd so you throw it back
\nAnd make sure that it hits somebody
\nWith an awful whack<\/p>\n
And they have to go to hospital
\nMaybe with a cut ear
\nMaybe a laceration
\nMaybe they just fear
\nWhat an orca can do to them
\nThe healing rooms now know
\nIf they are coming in from sea world
\nTheres an injury on show<\/p>\n
Thats because we are not happy
\nNothing about this plAce
\nEver makes us happy
\nIts a big disgrace
\nThe waters very smelly
\nAnd sometimes its too hot
\nThe chlorine in the water
\nI tell you I do not<\/p>\n
Like it when I slide up on the tiles
\nAlso I do see them
\nAll those children with their piles
\nOf shamu and chocolates wrappers
\nThese spoilt kids have so much
\nTheir parents don’t they see the ocean
\nWhy are they so out of touch<\/p>\n
When ever we get a chance these days
\nTo bash a trainer we
\nWant to bloody well bash them
\nTo try to make them see
\nWe hate it here these horrid tanks
\nAre not where we should be
\nWe need to claim our freedom
