\nVisited Susan today
\nBound for sub saharan Africa

\nWith his yellow and green
\nTailored shirt
\nAnd black legs all the way
\nUp to his graceful body

With the routes he would be taking
\nAcross the oceans blue
\nAcross the great red mountains
\nRising from the dew
\nHe is, now on the red list
\nIs he going to the wall

Reaching Susans garden
\nHis favourite interlude
\nBefore the long long journey

His wings well oiled and ready

And he a yellow wagtail
\nDancing as he does
\nWaiting for the love of his life
\nWho just gives him a buzz
