Today i went to Sea World
\nAs a listener
\nI wanted to learn their motives
\nFor all they do<\/p>\n
Their ethic about the capture
\nOf Some of the ocean’s predators
\nAnd how they justify it now
\nAll through<\/p>\n
They see themselves as philanthropists
\nApparently
\nHow they rescue animals and train
\nHow they breed the dolphins
\nAnd the orca’s
\nAnd how they truthfully according to them
\nMaintain<\/p>\n
The veterinary care 24\/7 at their premises
\nEverything is catered for the need
\nExcept an ocean and live fish and of course
\nthe interaction
\nThe living plants the living world
\nDiscounted just like that
\nHow they bring these amazing souls
\nTo the public and where they are at<\/p>\n
In terms of how they feed them
\nWith science in support
\nEverything they ever do
\nThe cetaceans are in their thought<\/p>\n
The fact that they make money
\nEnormous profit, that
\nIs kind of all discounted
\nThey do not smell that rat<\/p>\n
They talk about their customers
\nHow children are impressed
\nMany go on to seek professions
\nPassing every test<\/p>\n
They are guiding lights
\nThey are teachers
\nThy are mentors all the way
\nWorking to safeguard the dolphins
\nWho are safer every day<\/p>\n
Protected here in sea world
\nThats the merry tone
\nThe natural world is a dangerous place
\nFor any soul alone<\/p>\n
They forget to talk of the social aspect
\nThe family life which they
\nCompletely disregard it seems
\nAnd therefore make them pay<\/p>\n
They have the most immense feeling
\nFor their families as we know
\nAnd splitting them as sea world does
\nIs bound to be a blow<\/p>\n
i sat for about an half an hour
\nGiving the man the chance
\nTo come up with an answer
\nThere is no song and dance<\/p>\n
Whether it is ethical he leaves that up to you
\nAnd appreciates there are many schools of thought
\nAnd that is true<\/p>\n
But to steal a killer whale from its surroundings
\nAnd plop it in a tank of concrete, they
\nDie a slow and painful and frustration death
\nFor the great performers clearly they do pay
\nForsaking their freedom more costly everyday<\/p>\n
Dave said as to ethics some would say we are
\nSome might say we are not, I would say they are far
\nRemoved really from saying a wild orca should be
\nTanked up in the concrete dish for all eternity<\/p>\n
Its so cruel for the animals and so unfair as well
\nWe take them from their heaven and deliver them to hell
\nThey live with this frustration and boredom does them in
\nThey would be helpless in the ocean thats how they begin
\nTo demonstrate their purpose and he was keen to say
\nIn his estimation they would never swim away<\/p>\n
Once more folks this is arrogance for given half the chance
\nThey would be leaping over the wall doing a merry old dance
\nWhatever man believes of himself it is nothing like the role
\nNature spread before them to improve their soul<\/p>\n
They have their corporate fingers stretching far and wide
\nReally into all sorts of pies where apparently they hide
\nStrengthening their resolve and purpose in Every thing they do
\nAnd they believe if it wasn’t for them they are doomed really too<\/p>\n
We shall see in years to come the folly of their ways
\nWe can only watch them grow and know that now each creature pays
\nSo much in their freedom and their natural way to go
