\nWon his oratory wings
\nIn the house he did his bit
\nAnd we know now what it brings
\nMore difficulties for carers
\nVisiting hospital for they
\nAre having to pay a ransom
\nAnd this is not the way<\/p>\n
To help hard working carers
\nMany are finding it hard
\nThey really get no respite
\nAnd to hear this sort of bard
\nExpounding his stupid theories
\nIn a fillibustering way
\nWasting time and repeating himself
\nTo try to save the day<\/p>\n
A private members bill
\nWas read
\nTo try and help them for they
\nAre often single parents
\nAnd the charges they are way
\nToo high they are they are robbing
\nPeople of their rights
\nAnd this MP used delaying tactics
\nAnd his action truly bites<\/p>\n
And he stood up for carers
\nBut blocked this great idea
\nI hope he is very proud tonight
\nFor to me its very clear
\nIts a mean and nasty thing to do
\nTo carers everywhere
\nMany of whom are struggling
\nIs this man unaware?<\/p>\n
They give their lives to caring
\nTo sharing and when he
\nIs probably having a joyful day
\nOften the carers plea
\nIs they wish they could be as fortunate
\nBut in fact its not to be
\nThey sacrifice their freedom
\nSo that others can be free<\/p>\n
So that institutionalised living
\nIs not the shelter they
\nAre given at the states expense
\nThe carer cares each day
\nEach night each hour each moment
\nAnd, does not get paid
\nSo to deny them free parking at hospital
\nAt his sad door is laid<\/p>\n
A rotter badge for honestly
\nTo filiibuster here
\nWas really very uncaring
\nFor the tories it is clear
\nThe poorer have no say in tHings
\nThey are scroungers all the way
\nAnd I hope this man and the others
\nSee the light of day<\/p>\n
For it comes around and one day
\nMaybe he will need a helping hand
\nBut when nobody will give it
\nPerhaps he will understand<\/p>\n
To use such a technique on such a cause
\nSaddens me to my core
\nTo be this unaware of extreme difficulties
\nSuch an outcome shows me and makes me eternally sad
