Excitement
\nOpening presents
\nJoy in every form
\nGreat big eyes
\nAll realise
\nTheir satisfaction warm
\nShowing everybody
\nWhat they have got so true
\nSome had very little
\nWhilst others made it through<\/p>\n
Here we see at yule tide
\nMasses of expensive gifts
\nSome parents give up so much
\nAnd often there are rifts
\nChildren don’t like what they get
\nOr think they should have more
\nYule and giving presents
\nIs not what life is for<\/p>\n
Sharing with each other
\nA love of human kind
\nIs more to do with heartfelt care
\nThan material things I find
\nMuch of this corporate splatter
\nIs costing the earth such pain
\nHow nice it is to see genuine joy
