The Ethical approach is on the table
\nThe Public are aware and trying hard
\nThe Supermarket moguls have come round to it
\nEverybody sees the land they’ve scarred
\nThe lack of wild birds and the many allergies
\nThe fracturing of foods, its all out there
\n50 years of arrogance and now its payback time
\nAnd bewilderment it just seems everywhere<\/p>\n
Take waste,small business waste where is it going?
\nInto those dark chasms in the earth
\nWe created Landfill sites
\nand need to now share their delights
\nOf filling them with waste for all we’re worth
\nPollution to water tables, evil slurry
\nWhy re-cycle when its simple to
\nTruck it into Landfill sites
\nWhere the rat and seagull blights
\nCall it waste, be wasteful please will you<\/p>\n
The Government says more funding, isn’t possible
\nBut invades Iraq, with an army that does cost
\nA fortune, but what of our sweet resources
\nBury it in the earth so it is lost
\nWill it enhance the soil and make good compost?
\nA thousands years and it will stay the same
\nA rubbish tip where once organic trees grew
\nOur generation sadly were to blame<\/p>\n
Destruction was of paramount importance
\nLandfill tax had really hit the sky
\nSociety the I just can’t be bothered
\nWere far too busy watching people die
\nTo worry about their impact on the other
\nComing generations, who were they?
\nTheir children and their childrens children possibly
\nBut none of them were worried anyway<\/p>\n
A sickness, a malaise of sorts was clearly
\nManipulation in the way they fed
\nFor by the time the problem manifests itself
\nAll the perpetrators would be dead
\nOr Dummed down with their flat screens, and their gadgetry
\nRobotized, a new race to be sure
\nLiving in the Landfill, wormlike creatures
