Tomorrows too late
\nFor the Orangutan
\nHer big eyes look into
\nOur hearts what we’ve done
\nIs torn down her habitat
\nFor ghastly chairs
\nThe barby, the decking
\nAnd nobody cares <\/p>\n
Now she is lost
\nIn a great sea of sin
\nMangroves torn up
\nLetting great oceans in
\nThe trees are cut down
\nThe soil blows away
\nAnd the Great Apes they cry
\nAt the end of each day<\/p>\n
We see them in zoo’s
\nIn an unnatural state
\nWe view them on film
\nThey were seemingly great
\nBut tomorrow’s too late
\nToo late for us all
\nOur backs are now pressed
\nRight up to the wall<\/p>\n
We cannot escape
\nthere is no where to go
\nLets hold hands, Great Ape
\nLet us sit toe to toe
\nAnd wait for the fire
