Its a pretty dire outlook
\nThe world of the Seals
\nOn Namibia’s coastline
\nThe sentient feels
\na loss, all those babies
\nhave died, and now lay
\nbeginning to rot
\nin the heat of the day<\/p>\n
at the shoreline, the many
\nthe army await
\nthe call of the tide
\nCape Cross it is late
\nwith death for so many
\nthat Nature has made
\nher mind up and now
\nthey have joined her parade<\/p>\n
their pelts attract maggots
\nthe Seal clubber’s, No!
\nit appears its the one’s that
\nthey murder who go
\ninto the system
\nthat just seems to grow
\ntheir logic unfolds
\nwith little to show
\nthey ignore those that fell
\nby themselves on the shore
\nits some kind of omen
\nthey feel, I’m not sure
\nbut these valuable pelts
\nthey appear to ignore
\nSociety drifts to and fro
\nin the froth
\nthe sea and the tides
\nand the fish
\nlike a moth
\nby a lamp where society sees
\na flickering light
\nand the call of the breeze
\non the furthest of islands
\nout in the blue
\nas the sun curls its warmth
\non the shoreline, we knew
\nhow vast the blue ocean
\nbecomes famously
\nso much blood was lost
\nand forever will be
\nCape Cross a mass grave
\nfor the many who fell
\nclubbed to death
\ndenied breath
