The ocean is our playground
\nIts where we were put
\nWe have been here 400 million years
\nSo that grants us a foot

\nThe problem is you humans

You surf and make yourselves look like
\nA seal which we do eat
\nYou swim not so cleverly
\nAnd you have tasty meat
\nWe like the taste of blood in fact
\nSo if you come to our space
\nExpect us please and respect us

We are great whites
\nOur teeth are big
\nAnd we don’t swim far from shore
\nSo harpooning in the ocean
\nAll that blood and gore
\nWe can sense it really fast
\nAnd we will be over there
\nAnd if you get in the way
\nThen you we are going to share<\/p>\n
That bloke Abbott had the idea
\nTo shoot us all on sight
\nAnd sent out boats to do just that
\nOf course that wasn’t right

We have been around for ages

\nThose swimmers out at night
\nBut generally we are watching
\nFor the humans who might be
\nTrying to catch us dozing off

Australia is our home sea
