\nI happen to be a female

So much weight on 4 feet
\nIs a lot to bear
\nEspecially when we walk for miles

\nOur skin is about an inch thick
\nFor us now to succeed<\/p>\n
We need a lot of good fortune
\nFor the human tribe they be
\nReally so insensitive
\nTo the likes of you or me
\nThey are, after our ivory
\nOur tusks are seemingly
\nWorth a lot of money
\nIt causes us great strife
\nThey will shoot us with their rifles
\nThey will end our life<\/p>\n
We are the biggest vegans
\nThe country has even seen
\nGrass and roots and tree barks
\nFor us well are the scene
\nWhen we are little babies
\nWe weigh 200 pounds
\nWith our mothers milk inside of us
\nWe really do the rounds<\/p>\n
The sun plays havoc with our skin
\nWhich is why we seek the dust
\nThe mud as well can stop the hell
\nAnd give us lots of thrust
\nWe are a potent powerful team
\nEverywhere we go
\nUnyielding staunch and resolute
\nAnd get stringer as we grow<\/p>\n
We can be invincible red blooded and virile
\nAnd we can have destructive force
\nCan ravage and defile
\nWe hate the dreaded bull hooks
\nThat some human want to use
\nTo make us do what they want of us
\nThats when they do abuse<\/p>\n
We can over power then crush into bits
\nStomp on them and flatten we can use our wits
\nBut we have hearts as warm as fire
\nAnd always try to be
\nHelpful to the human species
\nIf they would only let us be free
\nThe tendency to enslave us chain us up
\nAnd make
\nUs prisoners in their sloppy world
\nWhere we don’t want a stake
\nIn anything they are doing
\nEntertainment no
\nSilly trucks with building bricks
\nWe are not part of the show<\/p>\n
Having them riding on our backs
\nTheir smell is not for us
\nEither they smell of perfume
\nOr they constantly cuss
\nThey are a bunch of hateful souls
\nAnd are violent we believe
\nTheir lives are full of turmoil
\nTheir absence does relieve<\/p>\n
In the emptiness of the wilderness
\nTheir is a boundless feel
\nBut they bring us to their cities
\nTheir Massive towers of steel
\nAnd glass and creamy concrete
\nWith motors everywhere
\nWalking on these dry old road
\nFill us with despair<\/p>\n
The noise the close proximity
\nThe heat the hardness pains
\nOur feet get ulcerated
\nThere really are no gains
\nOut here in the wilderness
\nThe earth and grass are soft
\nCompared to wear the humans walk
\nAnd we see from aloft<\/p>\n
Up into the trees we reach
\nThose ant like humans they
\nDrive about in metal trucks
\nAnd we are often in their way
\nWe have a bash at those vehicles
\nWhen ever we can
\nRip the mirrors and bumpers off
\nYea that is a plan<\/p>\n
Rides though really stress us out
\nThough they are apparently
\nSought out by the tourists
\nThey seem to want to see
\nThe jungle from our bare back
\nTo experience our rolling way
\nWe manoeuvre through the rugged grass
\nAnd for this they will pay<\/p>\n
Quite a lot of money
\nAnd so trainers do
\nWant to keep it going
\nEven in the zoo
\nThomas Cook and others
\nSeem reluctant to let us be
\nWandering around the planet
\nAbsolutely free<\/p>\n
Losing our wee babies
\nIs really awful thing
\nAgain you human beings
\nTruthfully you bring
\nInhumanity to humanity
\nWith your guileless attitude
\nAnd then you break their spirits
\nWith your poor ineptitude<\/p>\n
Its true we are great animals
\nAnd our sleep patterns are few
\nWe day dream quite a lot of course
\nBut really all our crew
\nAre thoughtful and instinctive
