Zoo’s are filled with corporates
\nThese days the mindless souls
\nWhere its not about the animals
\nIts money budgets and goals
\nChina takes on the teaching
\nChaining them inside
\nA school for performing monkeys
\nThey advertise with pride<\/p>\n
And whats it all about one asks
\nWhen they have been taught
\nTo send them all around the place
\nTo circus ah I thought
\nSo it really is no different
\nFrom the dolphins at Taiji
\nCapture them teach them tricks
\nAnd sell them on, can we
\nExploit wild creatures as we do
\nFor our own ends in fact
\nFor me its purely slavery

\nThey built a sanctuary close to
\nA geothermal spring where tourists

\nCome to watch the monkeys
\nWho adapt well to the scene
\nThey are not chained up in some zoo
\nThey can go the mean machine
\nIs not it seems as exploitative
\nIts more sensible to see
\nMonkeys living in the wild

But China seems to have got it wrong

\nHate to see the circus with wild animals in
\nThey die
\nInside performing stupid tricks
\nFor even more stupid souls
\nHuman beings we call them
\nBut more akin to trolls<\/p>\n
When humans fail to realise
\nAnimals have rights
\nWe must never make them slaves
\nOr victims for that invites
\nA complete lack of empathy
\nA disturbing lack of soul
\nWe curtail their lives completely

Of master or their trainer or their
\nLeader we control
\nThey are our slaves our cash cows
\nWhich shows me thats the goal
\nIts nothing about the animals
