The wailing and the agony
\nAnd the need of it to be
\nKept inside her body
\nAll that adversity
\nNot to broadcast agony
\nNot to scream aloud
\nBut keep it bottled up inside
\nAnd remain somewhat proud<\/p>\n
Kabu she was stolen from the wilds
\nA while ago
\nShe had babies one is dead now
\nThe other joined a show
\nHe does rides for tourists
\nThats his miserable lot
\nWhilst Kabu has been rescued
\nShe had somehow lost the plot<\/p>\n
Working for those logging corporations
\nHow she slaved
\nChained up and beaten often
\nTrying hard she saved
\nHerself a bit from falling
\nAnd restraining herself she
\nEnded up with painful legs and feet
\nAs we can see<\/p>\n
It was all for bloody decking
\nAnd cheap garden seats for those
\nPumped up western idiots
\nWhere just anything goes
\nShe worked from early morning
\nTo nightfall every day
\nPulling logs down mountains
\nThey really made her pay<\/p>\n
And her legs and feet are crippled
\nI lament to see her sigh
\nShe is crying deep in side her heart
\nTrying to reach the sky
\nTrying to walk a little faster
\nTrying to make it work
\nBut so pained throughout her body
\nWhere the acidity does lurk<\/p>\n
Now she has been rescued
\nAnd given a new lease of life
\nEvery step she makes brings back
\nThe hours and hours of strife
\nThe bull hook that she felt a lot
\nFrom men the greedy sods
\nWho wanted her to work faster
\nThey were all devoid of gods<\/p>\n
How they could really torture her
\nFor years on end and see
\nHer suffering so terribly
\nAnd never really be
\nFeeling of her exhaustion
\nOf her fear her woe her pain
\nHer struggle just to climb and pull
\nAnd do it all again<\/p>\n
And now she bears the scars of woe
\nEvery where she has to go
\nA slow gait each step doth deplore
\nThe irksomeness yes and some more
\nSo little pity did they share
\nThey were ruthless to her
\nThey didn’t care
\nAs long as she worked and pulled the logs
\nThrough all those swampy heavy bogs
\nAs the years went by she suffered so
\nAnd still they didn’t want to know<\/p>\n
Now she resting she ‘s survived
\nDespite the fact that her life nose dived
\nAll her weight on those crippled thighs
\nThat some people cannot realise
\nThats why her gait is terribly slow
\nThats why she rocks about now so
\nEvery step is such agony
