\nThe reaction of the waiting ears

\nBut do they see his history
\nDo they know or care
\nAre they simply biding time
\nAnd passing standing there<\/p>\n
He gives them his rendition
\nAll his throaty skills
\nA beautiful impression
\nThe flutes it kind of fills
\nOur hearts with sparkling rivers
\nWith purple mountains sides
\nThe tepees in the evening mists

We feel those emotive questions
\nThe overwhelming charm
\nThe ecstatic and emphatic
\nThe haunting measured calm
\nIts passionate its effusive
\nHow does one respond
\nThe audience just peels away

The Mohican sits and rocks and sings
\nHis flute flies ever on
\nThe music of the mountain streams
\nThat flow until they are gone
\nAcross the whole green wilderness
\nInto a spirit world
