The sun is moving southwards
\nDay and night will be
\nOf equal length a chance to dream
\nA chance to really see
\nThe darkness so much earlier
\nIts a great big balancing act
\nThat Nature does for all of us

The hard work that was put in
\nBrings such rewards for we
\nSee the great earth bounty
\nAnd absorb its honesty
\nWe look at celebration at balance
\nAnd accord
\nThe sun god will embrace his goddess
\nBut the harvest is our reward<\/p>\n
Jack and his frosty chill beads
\nWill remind us all to wear
\nA few extra layers
\nAnd just to be aware
\nA walk around the forest
\nFor some acorns and pine cones
\nLets place them on our altar
\nWith all the autumn tones
\nLeaves of many colours
\nLets give thanks to what we see
\nThe abundance of the Autumn
\nAnd its fruits lets share and be<\/p>\n

\nWe are at mid harvest
\nAt the bountiful display
\nRemember to change your diets

Soups and stews and casseroles

\nHarvest home its harvest home
\nWhich really is good news
\nAnd we look ahead to Samwain
\nAnd the thinning of the veil
