Hopelessness and despondency
\nA tsunami of woe
\nThis comfortless situation
\nThat by the day does grow
\nThe grey suits have as much
\nTo do with all of this for they
\nMisjudged the war in Iraq
\nAnd all of us now pay
\nBush and blair
\nThey both are where
\nBoth should be in a jail
\nIllegal war they tried to score
\nOil tried to derail
\nEverything and what we see
\nIs desperation here
\nPeople caught like rats in traps
\nSwallowed up in fear<\/p>\n
A wave of such emotion
\nBurst the banks of true desire
\nSyrians and Afghans
\nLeft their place of fire
\nTo somehow get their families out
\nOf the melee in the sun
\nOf the bomb torn cities
\nTorn a sunder by the foreign gun<\/p>\n
The minefield that was of our making
\nHas turned out to be
\nA bigger headache for the grey suits
\nAnd their infamy
\nIs on the ground you feel
\nA powder keg of woe
\nIndividuals in the mix
\nThe brinkmanship does grow<\/p>\n
Great waves of desperate people
\nRunning for their lives
\nIgnoring any danger now
\nDespite the range of knives
\nOut for them they care
\nNot
\nAll they want to do
\nIs regain the lost freedom
\nFor them thats good and true<\/p>\n
The indifference of that women
\nThat lovelessness she holds
\nKicking out at a desperate child
\nShe unsympathetically scolds
\nThe innocence of those who try
\nAnd save themselves from hell
\nIts no disgrace to try to chase
\nThe characterless as well<\/p>\n
Its happens in a melee of desperation
\nThey
\nare running for their lives in fact
\nTo date they have had to pay
\nThey have lost their homes
\nTheir belongings
\nAnd all their paperwork too
\nAll they have is the clothes they wear
