The story a wee horse
\nCalled patches stolen from its place
\nAnd dragged at least a mile it was
\nAlready a disgrace

\nAnd torture to a soul
\nAn innocent a quiet boy
\nPlaying a gentle role<\/p>\n
Who were they who could do this
\nIn the silence of the night
\nSuch hatred for another
\nAnd so devoid of light
\nSuch abhorrence and so offensive
\nSuch antipathy and bad blood
\nThey punched his eyes out
\nAn abomination
\nTo a loathing and a flood<\/p>\n
i just cannot imagine a more
\nsolemn case for pain
\nThey punched his face
\nSuch a lovable face
\nAgain and again and again
\nThis nauseous rejection
\nThis denouncing way
\nOf making a soul cry out in pain
\nAn odious display<\/p>\n
And he a dearest sweetheart
\nA cupid in disguise
\nA precious jewel and treasure
\nOne of the lovely guys
\nFelt the venom watched them singing
\nTheir treachery on fire
\nThen they cut his genitals off
\nA service seen as dire<\/p>\n
And then cut out his stomach
\nAnd left him standing there
\nBleeding out in agony
\nAnd facing such despair
\nThese fiends these must be psychopaths
\nGet off to hearing screams
\nTo watching blood and thunder
\nIts the most sexual of dreams
\nFor they are all but passed it
\nZoosadists they became

\nVile and direst cruelty
\nTo animals and beyond
\nIts a disease of abject awfulness
\nAnd between them feel a bond<\/p>\n
And stick together crazily

This poor soul lasted overnight
\nAnd was put down by the vet
\nProbably he was hoping although his mind was set
\nOn trying to get through this
\nRealisation showed
\nthere was no reason for coming back
\nAlong that terrible road
\nTheir sanity was shot away their malediction too
\nBrutal rough and ugly and a very heavy load<\/p>\n
Leaving what for him was a cruel world and well we know
\nThe zoo sadists didn’t make it either for them it was a blow
\nAway from any sanity or sense or feelings for
\nAny natural beauty like living in the raw<\/p>\n
They are criminals for certain rehearsing as they go
\nKilling and maiming wild life as gradually they grow
\nPossibly raping children and women and then they
\nMove on to serial killing making yet more pay<\/p>\n
Patches took the forcefulness
\nCried for hours on end
\nHoped a human would come along
\nAnd hopefully be his friend
\nBut it didn’t happen
\nIn fact the worse time came
\nWhen he suffered like the clappers
