The Sea Shepherd flag
\nflutters deep in my heart
\nits skull and cross bones
\nI can feel

\nA battles been raging
\nWhich all of us felt, was for real<\/p>\n
The Japanese whalers
\nAnd Sea Shepherd vessels
\nCat and mouse all of the way
\nThrough storms both did ply
\nwhere the bold ones do die
\nGuardians thankfully they
\nTook on these whalers,
\nFor science
\nWith exploding harpoons
\nand the rest
\nWho with sophistication
\nand so much elation
\nLocate and then slaughter
\nwith zest.<\/p>\n
Murdering what was creation
\nThe great whales
\nSupreme masters they
\nhuge and impassioned
\nWho glide massive distances
\nliving on krill
\nall the day<\/p>\n
Air breathing mammals
\nTheir great tails that rise
\nimmense is their following
\nwho can disguise
\nThe joy, that they bring
\nto all seafarers eyes
\nA great swimming mountain
\nof a wondrous size<\/p>\n
The whalers though, licensed
\nto slaughter for Science
\nand into the great beast they
\nthrust
\nthis exploding rocket
\nits made to well, shock it
\nbut fills me with utter disgust
\nThat poor silent creature
\nwhose endearing feature
\nIs thoughtfulness, caring
\nand Peace
\nTo be targeted by, a spiv
\nof a guy
\nWith a weapon thats bound
\nto release
\nSuch fire power, such evil
\nintention
\nto penetrate and then explode
\nForcing sinew and muscle
\nand blood to a tussle
\nDown an untimely dark road<\/p>\n
And the ocean runs red
\nand the brine will instead
\ncause much pain where the great
\nwound is cast
\nAnd the great haunting cries

\nlife is now leaving it fast

\nIts made no difference
\nThe slaughter, the carnage
\nthe doubt

Earthlings are suffering creatures
\nand its good that Sea Shepherd is here
\nWith its courage it takes on the vile
\nlegislation, committed to making things clear
\nIts a perilous journey for activists
\nAmerica calls them as though
\nTheir terrorists, but this caan’tstop them
\nAnd their fan base supporters do grow<\/p>\n
All of the creatures, yes all of the earthlings, animals fishes and birds
\nall of them need our protection
\nfor the food animals there’s no words
\nCorporate Power is colossal
\nThe Public most don’t have a clue
\nof the torture the terrible torture
\nthat is done in their name, and my view
\nIs that vegans are now at the forefront
\non the front line and as activists see
