I must say I do
\nfind it sad
\nthat human beings, who
\nhave experienced the slavery
\nof people still now do
\nthe very same to animals
\nchain them up al day
\ngestation crates and batteries
\nof chickens, the dismay
\ncaused to a living
\nbreathing soul
\nmust be a dreadful shock
\nImprisoned and manipulated
\nand treated as stock
\none’s individuality
\nis taken, stripped away
\nand you become a number
\non a line, yes everyday
\nits not as if your are
\na criminal
\nits just that men decide
\nyour their slave forever
\nand you’will’ remain inside
\na filthy shed, a light all day
\nno chance to rest or sleep
\npecked at,developing sores and
\nbeing tortured as you weep
\na bold leap of faith
\nis not apparent
\nfor you are just a slave
\nand will be till the end comes
\nand then you have no grave
\nso not even death allows you
\nto rest, to rest in peace
\nthat’s when your cut to pieces
\nthat is when your lease
\nran out, your switch turned off
\nby men who decide what is your fate
\nimagine for one moment
\nI bet they cannot wait
\nto be herded into filthy trucks
\nand taken to that place
\nthat vile cruel camp of death
\nawaits where slaves then have to face
\ntheir own sweet loss of life
\neven torment, is life of sorts
\nthe throat cut and the dangling
