A sanctuary in Costa Rica
\nSprings to mind today
\nMary Perry an American friend
\nIts there that she does stay
\nShe started it in the nineties
\nAnd has struggled through it, she
\nGets volunteers to come and help
\nTo help run it and be<\/p>\n
Its a steamy forest location
\nOverlooking the sea
\nWith lots of animals being helped
\nAnd cared for actually
\nShe deals in biodynamics
\nWhich is hard work anyway
\nAnd is clearly into saving the earth
\nWhich is wonderful I say<\/p>\n
All sorts of animals in the place
\nTurtles and monkeys I saw
\nAnd lots of creatures in cages
\nBeing nursed back to health
\nFor sure
\nAll of this costs time and money
\nAnd so if you feel inclined
\nGo visit help them out will you
\nIf you have a mind<\/p>\n
To do this it sounds wonderful
\nThey are on you tube and
\nAlso face book and twitter
\nTo help us understand
\nThis kind of work is time consuming
\nBut help is welcomed there
\nThere are political implications
\nBut when you are aware<\/p>\n
Of the good work they are doing
\nAnd the fact that if you care
\nYou can spend 3 months helping
\nOr sometime you can share
\nThe experience of the animals
\nAnd the environment around
\nIt is very rewarding
\nTo be helping on the ground<\/p>\n
Being part of something lovely
\nIs such a rewarding thing
\nIf you are young and caring
\nJust think what you can bring
\nTo these beautiful little animals
\nAnd this rather marvellous place
\nContact them you never know
