Doodlebug is no name for a baby Kangaroo
\nA v1 bomb whoever named him did they have clue
\nWhat its like to give names to animals today
\nTo be named after an explosive device
\nTo me its wrong to say
\nYour name is so negative
\nSo horrible in fact
\nCalling a baby by the name of a bomb
\nHow would you react<\/p>\n
Sadly little roo’s are often murdered at the scene
\nBy hunters pulled from the mothers pouch
\nAnd stomped on its obscene
\nTo think that some Australians
\nLack that empathy
\nToward the iconic kangaroo
\nAnd kill them tragically<\/p>\n
So this young soul
\nIs found upon the wayside
\nAnd presented with a teddy bear
\nA cuddly little companion
\nAnd just like any child
\nHe really truly doesn’t want to share<\/p>\n
The little bear its his
\nAnd he wants to keep it
\nPlay with it like any child would play
\nAnd this a little kangaroo
\nWith all the playfulness its true
\nAll I want to do now is to say<\/p>\n
Change the little fellows name
\nYou know he really cares
\nWhat they have called him
\nAfter a bomb that kills earthlings
\nHe compares
\nHimself with a great big metal bomb
\nThat explodes and hurts his friends
\nI think we ought to change his name
