The role of women in this world
\nIs coming under fire
\nRefugees especially
\nTheir positioning is dire
\nAnd apparently indifferences
\nAnd nonchalance abroad
\nA patriarchal strategy
\nThat no one can afford<\/p>\n
I fail to see its relevance
\ni cannot bear to see
\nWomen and such disrespect
\nAnd, despondency
\nIts almost as if hopelessness
\nIs a means to despair
\nAnd there is a strange antipathy
\nThats growing just out there<\/p>\n
These women on Nauru
\nHeld in disesteem
\nA number of them raped and beaten
\nDegraded it would seem
\nHow terribly unheroic
\nThe rabble seem to be
\nA vulgar herd of ruffians
\nAs there could ever be
\nTheir ingloriousness an insult
\nTo women as a whole
\nAs shabby and as squalid
\nAnd a true threat to the soul<\/p>\n
Its again about true arrogance
\nThe brazenness of man
\nThere is nothing kind about his order
\nAnd I am not a fan
\nHis swagger and bravado
\nIt does nothing for me
\nExpecting such submissiveness
\nOr else has tragically<\/p>\n
Raised a kind of loathing
\nA rancorous display
\nMaking women victims
\nIts repellent I must say
\nThese women raped and dying
\nAirlifted to Brisbane
\nThe malevolence and virulence
\nComes out of the insane<\/p>\n
Its becomes a malignancy
\nSo venomous and sour
\nWe now hear of Atrocities
\nHappening by the hour
\nSavagery and sadism
\nWorking in cohorts
\nMisogynists apparently
\nWith all their fucking warts<\/p>\n
We must create some gratitude
\nSome thankfulness for they
\nAre miraculous and wonderful
\nIn every single way
\nWomen are the carers
\nWomen show us light
\nWomen have the forgiveness
\nThe forbearance and the might<\/p>\n
They may seem the weaker earthling
\nIn their power and strength but they
\nHave an incorruptibility
\nAnd constant too I’d say
\nA state of grace
\nA moral strength
\nAnd walk humbly on this earth
\nA purity and morality
