Its up on a hill a secret place
\nSurrounded by trees
\nAn exciting space
\nA real tall cottage
\nWith windows that peer
\nOver the chess and away
\nFrom here<\/p>\n
A little courtyard
\nA great white wall
\nThat curves and swerves
\nIts very tall
\nWhere wild pigeons like to be
\nA sentry post it seems to me<\/p>\n
And in the courtyard
\nA studio
\nGreengages pages
\nArt in view
\nA lady with pi water, she
\nSpreads her paint so beautifully<\/p>\n
Mr Darcy a bold knight
\nSits outside a splendid sight
\nSleek and strong a handsome face
\nAnd just lays down all over the place<\/p>\n
Two Bay trees sit and clearly they
\nEnjoy the light that comes their way
\nDiana stoned and does enjoy
\nThe aspects bringing her much joy
\nIts small but has an eclectic feel
\nWith plants and object d’art, the zeal
\nIts there it kind of gets to you
\nAnd lets you know its there to woo<\/p>\n
And it delivers in a way the heraldic art
\nAnd the garden spray
\nIts very tiny but one can see
\nThe ivy really wants to be
\nHere in the garden for where it grows
\nIn the vicarage somehow it knows
\nThe true seclusion and magic here
\nAnd so of course it does appear<\/p>\n
In streams of green of verdant leaf
\nA tortuous sweeping grape relief
\nIt just falls down into where
\nThe little garden wants to share
\nAn old chimney stands a filigree chair
\nA little space to be aware
\nBehind the studio climbs away
\nTo A little hill where the faeries play<\/p>\n
A great abundance of friendly plants
\nClearly enjoy their romantic dance
\nIts a friendly cottage all can see
\nSuch affection and such artistry
\nA chimera where once the bread
\nWas baked perhaps and it was said
\nMexicans once provided worth
\nWith grains and flours from mother earth<\/p>\n
We stacked it up with cherry wood
\nAnd lit it and it smelled so good
\nIt cast its aura all about
\nAnd warmed us through without a doubt
\nA pleasant time was had as we
\nAte and drank excitedly
\nSoaked up all that evening fair
\nRinsed our hearts in Chesham’s air<\/p>\n
Watched the red kites restless swing
\nAnd a little bat a sweet dear thing
\nCame to see us as we sat
\nTucked away just really at
\nThis little world upon the hill
\nThat made us welcome and it will
\nMake others welcome I am sure
\nIts fine white walls
\nWindows and door
\nAnd yes inside it has that feel
\nA steep staircase that did reveal<\/p>\n
A shaft of sweet angelic light
\nThat fell on me from such a height
\ni didn’t make the trip beyond
\nInto the stars my little wand
\ni had left behind though I thought that i
\nMight launch myself into the sky<\/p>\n
From there perhaps a dream may be
\nTo touch the moon and even see
\nThe queen of the faeries who knows this could
\nBe just the place where she would
\nLike to be so thanks to those
\nWho brought me here and I do suppose
\nIf there are faeries that now they know
