One of my piglets
\nHas been taken from me
\nThe sweet little white one
\nWho did lovingly
\nCuddle up warmly
\nHe’s gone
\nthough its hard
\nIn this gestation crate
\nCos I’m always on guard.<\/p>\n
Against crushing my babies
\nI cannot turn around
\nI sit on my sores
\nOn the cold shitty ground
\nI weep for myself
\nand humanity too
\nFor in essence advancement
\nWon’t happen for you<\/p>\n
You are lost
\nin your paper trail
\nMoney and Power
\nProfit and Margins
\nI may be a sow
\nBut have an intelligence
\nI have a brain
\nI have an instinct
\nagain and again<\/p>\n
They have raped me
\nand made me
\nspend months in these crates
\nagain its is monstrous
\nthat your lot creates
\nSuch infamous torture
\nfor birthing should be
\nquiet clean and comfortable
\ndone so gently<\/p>\n
instead its rendition
\nits torture its pain
\nIts satanic and senseless
\nAnd of course it does drain
\nthe life out of me
\nand we all suffer so
\nAnd now I’ve lost one of them
\nWhere did he go?<\/p>\n
And then I saw him
\nin the hands of that man
\nHolding him skywards
\nWhat was his plan
\nToo late
\ncrashing down
\nto the cold concrete floor
\nHe just killed the baby
\nI did so adore<\/p>\n
I just couldn’t help myself
\nTears filled my eyes
\nI was bashed on the snout
\nWith a big pair of pliars
\nbut the thought that this
\nmurdering scum bag should feel
\nHe could murder my child
\nand I wouldn’t squeal<\/p>\n
He hit me again
\nand kicked me as well
\nMy poor legs were bruised
\nand arthritic as hell
\nI was sickened with grief
\nand agonised by
\nthe bruise on my legs
\nand just wondering why<\/p>\n
a sentient human
\ncan contemplate this
\ninordinate torture
\nI’d wanted to kiss
\nmy baby, but this brute
\nchucked him on the floor
\nand kicked him along
\nright out of the door<\/p>\n
I was sullen, I vowed
\nI would not eat again
\nI was under the most
\nterrible strain
\nI wouldn’t allow them
\nto abuse me no more
\nBut in fact I was earmarked
\nfor slaughter, so <\/p>\n
I couldn’t walk
\nI couldn’t get up
\nBut they got a fork lift
\nwith a sort of a cup
\nand picked me up out of the
\nGestation crate
\nand went for slaughter
\nToday was the date<\/p>\n
All my piglets were gone
\nTo China Town they
\nWould all be, suckling pigs
\nYes they would pay
\nWith their young lives
\nin many ways, they
\nwere far better off
