Our habitat is stolen almost every day
\nTrucks and cranes and JCB’s
\nSeem tO make their play
\nThey knock down all our favourite trees
\nAnd clear our paths away
\nFor centuries we follow them
\nAnd so we have to say<\/p>\n
It just is not fair Anymore
\nThe tarmac is too hard
\nIt really does our feet in
\nThats why they are so scarred
\nYour so called metal boxes
\nThat roll across the land
\nPeople sort of peer at us
\nWhich we don’t understand<\/p>\n
And actually in reality we are sick and tired
\nAnd so the words on all our lips
\nOur patience has expired<\/p>\n
And we are going to have some fun with you
\nPayback time is here
\nWe are going to do you over
\ngive you a thick ear<\/p>\n
Bust off all the mirrors
\nSit on the front so hard
\nScratch your blooming windscreen
\nSo best be on your guard<\/p>\n
Many are just driving far too fast today
\nWhen they find us on the road
\nThey blow the horn and say
\nBasically sod off will you
\nNo its our right of way
\nYou sod off or we will crush the car
\nAnd then you will pay<\/p>\n
So that is what we are doing
\nWith our natural pathways gone
\nWith the tall trees that we scratch a lot
\nAlso not upon
\nThe places where they used to be
\nEverything cut down
\nAnd so we are going to fight back
