It rolls into the slaughterhouse
\nMany feet high
\nOrange and yellow crates
\nWhere in doth lie
\nInjured and sick chickens
\nThe sadness thats there
\nAs we look through the slits
\nIt is real hard to bear<\/p>\n
Clearly they are hopeful
\nBut equally they
\nExpect death, each breath
\nIs a bonus today
\nOr is it, for life for these birds
\nHas been rough
\nAnd many of them clearly have had enough<\/p>\n
Those of the public consuming their meat
\nTheir wings and their breasts
\nAnd even their feet
\nSo dumb to the cruelty
\nThey cant even think
\nHow these chicken boys felt
\nSome don’t see the link<\/p>\n
With death, that we understand
\nAnd they do too
\nSoon their heads severed
\nBleeding out who
\nIn their right minds would ignore
\nThem consumers of course
\nIf it were not these chickens
\nSome might eat a horse!
\nThe burger fanatics
\nOr tandoori boys
\nAll that they see is
\nThe spiciest joys
\nOf picking a chicken
\nAnd eating it fast
\nWith lashings of chilli
\nAnd cold beer
\nThe blast
\nFor carnivores without a care in the world
\nWho don’t even think
\nThat their victims were hurled
\nInto this life and out if it too
\nDrenched in what was a chemical stew<\/p>\n
