Zimbabwe shows its desperation
\nAnd its significant lack of soul
\nBy selling 24 Elephant calves
\nTo China, and their role
\nWill be to leave their wild place
\nLeave their mothers behind
\nAnd join the circus fraternity
\nThe mindless underlined<\/p>\n
They have also ordered 30 Lions
\nRegent felines who
\nWill leave their land called Afrika
\nAll bound for China too
\nThey will realise the hideousness
\nOf human financial gain
\nThe defacement of so many lives
\nWith this odious disdain<\/p>\n
Ungraced and loathsome dealers
\nVillainously they show
\nTheir countenance where necessity
\nBecomes no place to go
\nStolen from their families
\nMade orphans with one sweep
\nUndignified and tasteless
\nThe tawdry how they reap<\/p>\n
Their fortune shipped across the sea
\nTo where hopelessness will be
\nPart of life forever
\nin a time locked misery<\/p>\n
Its alleged its conservation
\nBut poor judgement it could be
\nmore The point for China will not see
\nThem actually
\nIn the light that africa imagines
\nThese animals consigned to China’s circus
\nAnd alas its true zoology<\/p>\n
Home grown ivory
\nSeemingly the order of the day
