The anatomy of Gaza
\nIts skeleton on show
\nIts demolition underway
\nWhere ever your eyes go
\nComplete eradication
\nAnd overwhelming sight
\nBombed and smashed to pieces
\nDevoured as if by right<\/p>\n
Those buildings we once lived in
\nOur home till recently
\nNow a new skeletal framework
\nIs all that we can see
\nThe destruction is so frightening
\nJust ruins everywhere
\nAnd many total collapses
\nWith all of the despair<\/p>\n
Children blown to smithereens
\nThe violence an extreme
\nWhen the children ran for cover
\nThe ravagers did stream
\nTheir explosives down upon them
\nLimbs were blown away
\nIsrael was heavy handed
\nAnd of course it is today<\/p>\n
All of them gods children
\nWhat was there to learn
\nThe lanes belonged to Palestine
\nBut in hot flames all burn
\nIt must madden any parent
\nTo see their children die
\nCaught up in the mayhem
\nAnd wondering now why<\/p>\n
There are children in The war zone
\nChildren everywhere
\nAnd each of them are suffering
\nWith accumulative despair
\nIts pure hell in the offing
\nNo respite anymore
\nEveryones a victim
\nIn this brand new war<\/p>\n
The all powerful armed up to the teeth
\nHave arrogance galore
\nFiring salvoes at other peoples children
\nAt the core
\nof life
\nThe evil surfaces
\nWhere children live and die
\nGaza spirit of the age
\nWhere every soul must lie<\/p>\n
Shivering in clouds of fear
\nIn smoke in explosive force
\nLimbs torn off by ugly brutes
\nWith anger at their source
\nOver 2000 Palestinians dead
\nTheir slaughter came
\nSuddenly and fearfully
