The crimson sluice of whale blood
\nInfused with brine does show
\nHow serious the case is
\nAnd how it seems to grow
\nThe Faroe Islanders nonsense
\nIs seen by all for we

This murdering and violent spectacle
\nIs creating far and wide
\nA virulence of contaminants
\nNow lurking deep inside

\nThe vagaries of men

They can kill another Pilot Whale
\nTear its head off, and watch
\nIt pump its life’s blood through the surf
\nThankfully they botch
\nTheir dietary principles
\nWith mercury and more

\nAnd heavy metals galore<\/p>\n
This affects their unborn children
\nYes they affect it all
\nTheir kidneys and their livers
\nThis cocktail does appal
\nThe grind its called
\nTradition its known as
\nWe all see
\nDenmark send its war ships
\nAs protection ludicrously<\/p>\n
Which keeps the spirit rising
\nOn these islands where we see
\nSuch carnage, and such bitterness
\nAnd such madness actually
\nChildren are immersed in it
\nWomen seemingly
\nStill consuming the blubber

We humans exploit nature
\nAnd the wild souls of the sea
