The Coyote’s adaptability allows it a free reign
\nIts a wily individual with a rather clever brain
\nIts suited to its environment and has an instinctive flair
\nWith a life force thats so powerful and it truthfully does share
\nKnowledge and regard with others its territory is seen
\nAs important and regarded and seldom has it been
\nMore adept at where its living and it understands a lot
\nA breadth of mind and a soundness more so than some have got
\nThose humans who would take them on and eliminate them will
\nRealise they are able and show enormous skill<\/p>\n
Their endurance is remarkable they have the staying power
\nTrying to eliminate them really knowing how
\nTraps
\nDon’t work besides they are so very very cruel
\nThey really are an unflagging prey
\nAnd up against them its some duel
\nThey really are an incredible
\nBeast
\nAnd humans really should
\nLearn to live beside them
\nAnd understand how good<\/p>\n
They are for the environment their tendency to be
\nCloser to their origin and macrobiotically
\nUndiscouraged by the will of man
\nWho sees them as a threat perhaps
\nAnd defiantly not a fan<\/p>\n
Introducing mange and other diseases was thought
\nTo be the way to overcome their tenaciousness so sought
\nBut truthfully it
\nHasn’t really worked for they can be
\nHardy enough to overcome what is this malady
\nIt is my advice to the human beings
\nTo live with them for they
\nHave certain true advantages and they may save the day<\/p>\n
The object is not to feed them to be careful what we do
\nTo understand the wild ones but certainly not pursue
\nNot try to hunt them down or trap
\nThat wont do the trick
\nThey all then just breed earlier
\nAs for arithmetic
\nthey can work it out and realise
\nHow the need to breed
\nto replace lost souls is imperative
\nAnd thats how they succeed<\/p>\n
Veterinarian’s are arrogant to imagine that they can
\nChange the pattern of life for them and somehow try to plan
\nA system that can do away with coyotes but for me
\nWe must all respect the wild ones
