\nNever had to write
\nPoems about anal electrocution
\nJust the sight
\nOf such a fucking evil
\nWould have pissed them off like mad
\nAnd here I am day after day
\nReally awfully sad<\/p>\n
Writing up the exploits of other
\nEarthling souls
\nTreated to beastiality
\nAnd rape and murder, roles
\nThat no pure sensitive being
\nShould be subjected to
\nBut here in modern Britain
\nIt’s what I have to do<\/p>\n
Newbolt Browning and Kipling
\nAll wrote what they saw
\nAnd there is me preparing
\nUgliness so raw
\nThe circus and the rodeo
\nLive exports truthfully
\nIvory and canned hunting
\nAnd the infamous Taiji<\/p>\n
I sit here on my lonesome
\nPutting poems through
\nMy psyche every single day
\nEvery poem true
\nTo life with all it’s drama
\nIt’s intelligence and more
\nWhatever the poets write about
\nI must say I am sure<\/p>\n
I write animals rights odes
\nAnd women’s rights and they
\nAre getting torture and subjugation
\nEvery fucking day
\nIt’s terrible how much we’ve let
\nOur thoughts and actions fall
\nHow much we hurt the ones we love
\nWho we shouldn’t hurt at all<\/p>\n
A druid and a soulful bard
\nSits contemplating much
\nWants to love and realise
\nAnd just to be in touch
\nWith more positive emotions
\nBut tragically it seems
\nThey are only viable
