We stand at the crossroads we druids
\nWith the weight of history here
\nOn our shoulders these blue stones
\nAre magical stones
\nAnd vast healing qualities clear<\/p>\n
The darkness descending around us
\nWe are right up and close to them all
\nWe have the power in our hearts and our souls
\nListen as our ancestors call<\/p>\n

\nThis pilgrimage site where we stand
\nThe mirrored symmetry all of the solstices
\nFeatured in how it was planned<\/p>\n

\nThey haven’t an earthly nothing to show
\nJust political corporate crap in the ring
\nAs to British History really nothing<\/p>\n
We stand in our circle our energy builds
\nWe are the now our heartbeat now wields

\nThey knew of the leys aligned with the stones
\nAnd soon they were brazenly giving their bones<\/p>\n

\nwhere they fell where they died
\nWhere their pain and their breath
\nwas at some point denied<\/p>\n
We stand here today druids who should
\nTake on their thoughts just imagine we could
\nThey gave every ounce of their strength which we feel
\nJust look at those stones and what they reveal<\/p>\n

\nThat rain down their chemicals on us galore<\/p>\n

\nAs we cough and we splutter seemingly caught
\nIn the malaise of ignorance now at our door
\nHistory file it away just ignore<\/p>\n
The myriad miracles that once were here
\nBury the past in the concrete and fear
\nIt’s all about us now driving our cars
\nGetting to wherever these violent scars<\/p>\n
On humanities past will be felt in the hearts
\nOf our children and their children
\nYea the upstarts
\nWere more into materialistic pursuits
\nThey sacrificed history and their true roots<\/p>\n
We are Druids and proudly we stand here today
\nThe summer solstice the sun’s every ray
\nBurns down upon us reminding us, we
\nMust stand with the ancestors that’s where we be<\/p>\n
Tunnels and dual carriageways are not on
\nAnd at some point they will crumble
\nLike those who have gone.
\nWe must not allow them to come and destroy
\nWhat our brothers and sisters brought
\nTo us true joy.<\/p>\n
