What a fantastic outpouring of sentiment and care
\nUnder a lovely blue sky where so many did share
\nSuch energy such thoughtfulness and togetherness as they
\nSpread their positivity all along the way
\nPlacards they were everywhere lots of tops in red
\nThe movement is clearly gathering power
\nOn top of a van they led
\nWhat was a grand procession the emotion it was there
\nWhistles voices heartiness yes we all could share<\/p>\n
It was heartfelt and impressive
\nSpirited and aware
\nThe message you could hear it
\nFrom almost anywhere
\nClosure of the abattoirs
\nThe message loud and clear
\nThese places are dire hell holes
\nFull of suffering and fear<\/p>\n
Of course we hear their wails of woe
\nTheir tenderness from down below
\nTheir tears we know and of course we share
\nWet eyes of course were everywhere
\nThese marches carry lots of power
\nThey move people and they shower
\nThe true sense of why people come
\nAnd march and share and truly some<\/p>\n
Get motivated and feel the fire
\nThe euphoria and of course desire
\nThe affection for each earthling friend
\nWho in these dark vile places spend
\nThe last moments of their wretched life
\nDestroyed by a slaughter man with his knife<\/p>\n
And it’s all done noisily behind closed doors
\nSomething the city of Paris ignores
\nSomething the people who buy into meat
\nSo out of their minds and well they just eat
\nWe have to appeal to them they have to hear
\nThat’s why we march why we write
\nAnd spread cheer
\nThe animals earthlings deserve so much more
\nAnd that’s why we came here
\nWe cannot ignore<\/p>\n
Their cries and they are crying each day
\nFor their calves and their piglets
\nAnd lambs that did pay<\/p>\n
A coming together of like minds were we
\nMarching to save them and knowing we be
\nThere for them always using our voice
