There’s a wickedness before me
\nAn amorality
\nDemoralising in its approach
\nAnd it’s obliquely
\nIt’s hiding the enormity
\nThe transgression of the case
\nTo demerit and to shift the blame
\nTo the individual’s space
\nIn so many ways it’s unpardonable
\nFor it trespassers upon
\nEach individual’s decency
\nAnd conscience and they don
\nThis piece of digital innocence
\nAnd wear it everyday
\nOn their person close to their heart
\nWhich to me brings on the dismay
\nOf these especially sensitive frequencies
\nInterfering and
\nSpreading a kind of negativity
\nWhich most can’t understand.<\/p>\n
We see the various videos of
\nCops acting like thugs
\nOver doing the aggression
\nAnd so very short on hugs
\nIt’s all about the taser
\nThe choke holds and the rest
\nWhere is the understanding
\nIt’s horrible at best<\/p>\n
Changes are apparent
\nBut they are clearly seen
\nA lot of us are worried
\nAnd those that of course have been
\nAt the wrong end of this aggression
\nFeel the police state idea looms
\nWith some already dead and gone
\nAnd rotting in their tombs
\nWe must instal compassion
\nAnd an empathy for all
\nEverybody has the choice
\nAnyone can fall
\nBelow the ruddy parapet
\nAnyone of us
\nWe have to realise the worth
\nAnd if in doubt discuss<\/p>\n
This move away from humanity
\nTo the cyborg fraternity
\nTo the digital chips
\nLet’s get to grips
\nWith base insanity
\nWe are absolutely miraculous
\nIn what we can do and see
\nWe have the brains to be positive
\nLeave the negativity
\nOut of our decisions
\nCreate that natural sense
\nOf what is much more grounded
\nWith it’s gifts and true suspense
\nMuch much more to learn about the animals
\nAround
\nThe fauna and the lovely trees
\nAnd the insects that abound
\nThis should be our future
\nUsing what we possess
\nNot searching into digital spheres
