Headphones on and off we go
\nOur breathing changes as we know
\nBoys and girls came out to play
\nPans let’s watch them as they are blown away<\/p>\n
The I pads feed them visually
\nThe sound track proves you can’t break free
\nTheir eyes their faces this whole eventm
\nChanges them that’s the intent<\/p>\n
Factory farms are evil places
\nYou can see that on their faces
\nShock and horror the vilest awe
\nIt is like some horrid war<\/p>\n
From farm to fridge they see it all
\nOvercrowding that does appal
\nNo light no fresh air no sun no rain
\nJust chickens going quite insane<\/p>\n
Why wouldn’t they tortured like this
\nBeaks cropped removing any bliss
\nThey might have thought they would have left here
\nAgony an intense fear with dream of getting out of here<\/p>\n
Male chicks happy little souls
\nConsigned to the grinder their bell tolls
\nFaster than they ever thought
\nWithin an hour or so they are caught<\/p>\n
Riding the conveyor chirping loudly
\nHappy bunnies riding proudly
\nThrough the factory to the machine
\nThat grinds them up we are that mean!<\/p>\n
Why are we evil the reason being
\nThey don’t lay eggs they are not all seeing
\nThey won’t grow quickly economically
\nNot fit for purpose tragically<\/p>\n
The females they are sent straight to
\nThose tiny cages of wire we do
\nTerrible things to females there
\nWho live short lives in abject despair<\/p>\n
That’s the chickens that’s their lot
\nWhat a fucking life they have got
\nShackled upside down they be
\nmurdered by us tragically<\/p>\n
That really is no way to go
\nMany are conscious as we know
\nTheir agony is seen to be
\nReally unbelievably<\/p>\n
Cruel and we now witness this
\nSurely we so take the piss
\nCreation caresses our senses so
\nAnd receives our knock back
\nWith each John Doe<\/p>\n
Dairy cows what have they done
\nTo expect such evil again no sun
\nNo fresh air just artificial light
\nAnd terror and torture as a right<\/p>\n
Worked to death milked all day
\nTheir calves are stolen straight away
\nWhen they are spent they are sent to die
\nGentle females my question why<\/p>\n
They may by now have lost their tails
\nCut off by the knife that fails
\nSawn off in the end maybe
\nThrough nerves and muscle you can see<\/p>\n
You can hear them scream like mad
\nReally we are very bad
\nDiseased or disabled downers they
\nLay around and die a way<\/p>\n
Out for them such agony
\nWe believe that larceny
\nIs more appealing profit wise
\nThen we tell the public lies<\/p>\n
They are prodded and shocked and carted away
\nThroats cut limbs hacked off they say
\nMany are conscious through all of that
\nBut That is where the cows are at<\/p>\n
Sows in gestation crates all day
\nPiglets their testicles torn away
\nTheir tails snipped off their teeth are too
\nThis is what the farmers do<\/p>\n
Many so injured slammed to the ground
\nAnd lay there weeping hear the sound
\nTiny babies their wretched lives
\nEnded in these futile dives<\/p>\n
If they grow and have escaped
\nFrom constant beatings and being raped
\nThe slaughterhouse is where they go
\nThroats cut bled out they won’t grow<\/p>\n
Anymore no not at all
\nthe farmers make the final call
\nHung up throats slashed the dance of death
\nWe were unprepared to share to our breath<\/p>\n
From farm to fridge the only route
\nIs agony and torture which doesn’t suit
\nAny so us not at all
\nBut sadly humans it’s our call<\/p>\n
We can be humane and all say no
\nGo vegan it’s a choice I know
\nI went vegan and look at me
\nI am alive and still happy<\/p>\n
If everyone did what I did
\nTry hard just to lift the lid
\nStop the torture stop the pain
\nSo that those who are born
\nCan live again<\/p>\n
As pets as friends or in the wild
\nEnjoy their life enjoy their child
\nCruelty would never be
\nPart of their life then they would be free<\/p>\n
Not as many surely no
\nCreation would help us all to grow
\nSide by side each species part
